Key Dates for Year 9 ready for September 2026

Week Beginning 15th December 2025

• Pathways booklet to be sent home, and also be available on this site

Week Beginning 12th January 2026

• Year Group Assembly

Wednesday 14th January 2026

• Parent and Carer information evening - main presentation at 6:00pm
  
  

Week Beginning 13th January 2025

• Pathways letter will be sent home offering guidance to parents and carers.

5th – 24th January 2026

• Subject presentations in class– looking at KS4 options in each curriculum team.
  
  

Thursday 29th January 2026

• Year 9 Parents/Teacher evening. A chance to hear from SBL staff via an electronic link, after which students will be able to make their choices.
  
  

By Tuesday 17th  February 2026

• Final day for returns from students / parents.
